Invest in New Mexico’s Resilient Future: Support Water Advocates
Water is life. In the arid landscapes of New Mexico, this truth resonates deeply. Our rivers, aquifers, and acequias are the lifeblood of our communities, cultures, and economies. Yet, these precious resources are increasingly threatened by megadrought, aridification, and growing demands.
Water Advocates is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to safeguarding New Mexico’s water future. We are a voice for responsible water management, advocating for policies that protect our rivers and groundwater, ensure equitable access for all, and promote sustainable practices.
Your Support is Essential
As a volunteer-driven organization, we rely on the generosity of individuals and organizations who share our passion for water conservation and sound management. Your donation, no matter the size, directly fuels our work:
- Education: We conduct workshops, webinars, maintain a social media presence, and host community events to raise awareness about water issues and empower citizens to take action.
- Advocacy: We work tirelessly to advance water-wise legislation and hold decision-makers accountable for protecting this vital resource.
- Policy Discussion: We encourage ongoing debate about how best to address water issues. Our board includes seasoned scientists and water experts who help inform policy discussions and promote sound water management practices.
Every dollar you contribute helps us:
- Amplify our message: Reach more communities and decision-makers with critical information about water issues.
- Expand our programs: Develop new initiatives to address emerging water challenges and promote innovative solutions.
- Strengthen our advocacy: Ensure that water conservation and management remains a top priority in New Mexico’s policy landscape.
